Hello! That's a great question about the 1976 Bicentennial Eisenhower dollar. While one of the sources provided wasn't relevant, the other gave a great clue to help answer your question.
You can find the mint mark on the obverse, or the "heads" side of the coin. Look right below the portrait of President Eisenhower's neck and just above the 1976 date. It will be a small capital letter.
The Reddit source you found brings up a very common point of confusion: what if there is no mint mark? If you look in that spot and don't see a letter, it simply means your coin was minted in Philadelphia. During that time, the Philadelphia mint did not place a "P" mint mark on its dollar coins.
If you do see a letter, it will be a "D" for a coin minted in Denver or an "S" for one from San Francisco. It's also helpful to know that the 40% silver collector's versions of the 1976 dollar were produced at the San Francisco mint and will always have that "S" mint mark.
