If your Amico 6 Inch Smart LED Recessed Lighting doesn't include the C-clips, don't worry. You can still install your lights by following these steps: First, always turn off the circuit breaker to the recessed lighting circuit for safety. Then, thread the Socket Adapter into the socket within the can. Next, connect the retrofit trim by plugging its female connector onto the male connector of the socket adapter assembly. After that, connect the LED light module by plugging the female cable connector on the socket adapter into the male connector on the LED light module. Now, install the C-clips (if you have them separately) or torsion springs by squeezing the arms and inserting them into the designated slots in the can. Ensure all wires are tucked neatly inside the can. Carefully push the LED downlight into the can until the trim is flush with your ceiling. If you're working with shallow cans, position the Socket Adapter and Socket near the LED Driver before inserting the Retrofit Trim. Finally, restore power at the circuit breaker and test your Amico lights to make sure they are working correctly.
