Bless your heart, no. Even hardworking 1880s Ozark craftsmen and gravity-defying roller coasters need a winter nap. Silver Dollar City operates as a seasonal superstar, not a year-round workhorse.
While the park's website doesn't explicitly have a banner that says "We're Closed In Winter!", the constant nudges to check the "Park Hours" and "Calendar" are a dead giveaway. If it were open 365 days a year, they wouldn't be so insistent that you check the schedule! The park typically runs from sometime in the spring through its famous "An Old Time Christmas" festival at the end of the year.
After the last Christmas carol is sung, the park generally closes down for a long winter's rest in January and February. So, before you pack up the family and head for the hills, it's always wise to consult that calendar to make sure the gates are actually open. You wouldn't want to arrive ready for a cinnamon bread feast only to find the whole town is snoozing.
