Hey there! It's so frustrating when your favorite mug gets those stubborn brown coffee rings, isn't it? The great news is that getting them out is surprisingly simple and you probably already have what you need right in your kitchen.
Based on what works best for most people, the go-to method is using baking soda. Just sprinkle about a tablespoon of baking soda into the bottom of the stained cup. Add a tiny splash of water, just enough to form a thick paste. Let that paste sit on the stains for a few minutes. After it's had a moment to work its magic, take a sponge or a brush and give the inside of the cup a good scrub. The stains should lift right off, leaving your mug looking as good as new.
If you happen to have a magic eraser on hand, that's another fantastic option. These melamine foam sponges are great at gently scrubbing away tough stains with just a little bit of water. For really set-in stains, a product called Bar Keepers Friend is also highly recommended as a powerful cleaner that can restore your ceramic mugs to their original glory. But for a quick, cheap, and easy fix, the baking soda paste is definitely the winner.
