Here's how to disassemble and assemble the Minn Kota Ultrex control board, crucial for maintaining or repairing your Minn Kota Ultrex.

Disassembly Steps:

1. Position the motor lower unit with the foot pedal 'toe down'.
2. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws from the sensors at the heel and adjacent to the steering cables in the foot pedal base.
3. Slide the sensors into the openings in the foot pedal base after removing the screws.

5. Loosen the nut on the potentiometer and slide it off its mounting location on the pedal.
6. Use a wire cutter to remove the zip tie securing the wires from the momentary switch.

10. Cut the cable tie securing the power switch wires, end of travel sensor wires, and indicator light board ribbon cable.
11. Disconnect the power leads, motor leads, accessory plug, steering sensor connector, steering leads, and lower unit bonding wire.
12. Pull out the reed switch, potentiometer, and end of travel sensors.
13. Remove the old control board from the foot pedal assembly.

Assembly Steps:

1. Guide the potentiometer and reed switch through the upper opening in the foot pedal base.
2. Slide the control board under the autopilot sensor arm with magnet and place it in the foot pedal base assembly.
3. Place the sensors in their respective openings in the foot pedal base.
4. Secure the pulley cover and steer left/end of travel sensor.
5. Connect the wires to the new control board according to the wiring diagram.
6. Position the indicator light assembly and secure it in place.
7. Install the power leads and motor leads as indicated by the wiring diagram.
8. Secure the bottom plate to the foot pedal base.
9. Install the sensors and reed switch back into place.
10. Secure the momentary button, reed switch clip, and potentiometer.
