Connecting your PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder to Wi-Fi allows for convenient control via the app. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Before you begin:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Set up the feeder indoors, away from direct sunlight.
Wi-Fi Connection Requirements:
- The feeder only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. If your router broadcasts only a 5GHz signal, configure it to also broadcast a 2.4GHz signal.
- Your Wi-Fi password should be limited to 12 digits and letters; special characters are not supported.
- Place the feeder close to your router, ideally within 6 meters and without walls obstructing the signal.
Troubleshooting:
- If the connection fails, reset the feeder by pressing and holding the reset button for 6 seconds. Wait 2 minutes before attempting to reconnect.
App Connection Instructions:
- Open the PETLIBRO app and navigate to the Home page.
- Tap 'Add Device' or the '+' icon in the upper right corner.
- Select 'PLAF101 Wi-Fi Feeder' from the device options.
- Follow the on-screen prompts and verify the Wi-Fi indicator on the feeder is flashing.
- Choose 'Bluetooth' in the top right corner of the screen.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Confirm the indicator on the feeder flashes once every 0.5 seconds.
- Tap 'Next'. If the indicator isn't flashing, select 'Reset Device Step by Step' and complete the instructions.
- Add the device 'PLAF101' by entering your Wi-Fi account details and password, ensuring you're connected to a 2.4GHz network.
Once successfully connected, you can manage feeding schedules and portion sizes for your cat directly from the PETLIBRO app.
