Zeroing your Holosun HS403R red dot sight is a straightforward process. Here's how to do it for accurate shooting:
Safety First: Before you start, make absolutely sure your firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
Initial Setup: The HS403R is factory-adjusted for a 25-yard zero, so you'll want to start there. This means your first shots should generally land close to the center.
Adjusting Windage and Elevation: The elevation turret is on top of the sight, and the windage turret is on the right side. You'll use the built-in screwdriver tool, found on the protective cap, to make adjustments.
Making Adjustments to Point of Impact:
Important Caution: Don't force the turrets. If you feel resistance, you've likely reached the adjustment limit. Forcing it can damage the sight. If you need more adjustment than the turrets allow, consider adding a shim or spacer between the sight and the mounting rail. Following these steps will help you achieve a precise zero with your Holosun HS403R.
