- Power Up the Gateway: Press and hold the power button on the Gateway for three seconds until it starts. Verify the battery indicator and signal strength on the LED screen.
- Connect DR400 to PC: Use the docking station to connect your DR400 recorder to your PC via a USB port. Then, launch the PC Patch utility.
- Access Pairing Settings: Within the PC Patch utility, navigate to the Settings screen and click the "Pair Gateway" button.
- Confirm Successful Pairing: Once the pairing process begins, compare the Serial Number (S/N) displayed on the Gateway with the Gateway value shown in the PC Patch utility. This confirms successful pairing.
- Verify urlkey.dat File: Ensure that the urlkey.dat file, obtained from NorthEast Monitoring, is saved in the correct directory where the PC Patch utility is located. The "Pair Gateway" button will only be active if this file is present.
- Check Wireless Settings: Confirm that the wireless settings configured in the urlkey.dat file match the settings configured in the FTP receiving location to enable data transmission.
- Match Key Settings: Carefully check that the following settings are identical between the PC Patch utility and the FTP receiving location:
- Service URL key
- Remote Server URL
- Remote Server Port
- Carrier APN
- KEY ID
