- Prep the Probe: Insert the temperature probe into the thickest part of the food, ensuring it's not touching the bottom of the slow cooker or any bones.
- Power On: Plug in the slow cooker and press the ON/OFF button to turn it on.
- Activate Probe Mode: Press the PROBE button. The PROBE button will light up, and the display will show the default temperature of 180°F (80°C). If the probe isn't connected, the display will alternate between "PLUG" and "PRbE".
