Starting your Simpson Premium Pressure Washer involves a few key steps to ensure safe and effective operation. First, fill the fuel tank with fresh, high-quality unleaded gasoline, ensuring a pump octane rating of 86 or higher, and avoid overfilling. Next, check the engine oil level following the procedure outlined in your Engine Owner's Manual. Also, inspect the pump oil level using the sight glass; the oil should reach the dot. If it's low, add SIMPSON Premium Pump Crankcase Oil or SAE 15W-40 oil. Connect your water hose to the water source and turn it on, allowing water to flow freely. Ensure the filter screen is correctly positioned in the pump's water inlet. Then, connect the high-pressure hose to the pump outlet and select the appropriate nozzle for your cleaning task, attaching it to the spray wand. To start the engine, open the gas valve by pulling it out until it stops, then slowly pushing it back in until you hear a click. Activate the choke by pulling it out fully, then push it back in until you hear a click. Repeat this process until you hear a loud pop sound, indicating the engine is running at full speed. Finally, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to initiate water flow. Your Simpson Premium Pressure Washer is now ready; adjust the throttle with the throttle trigger located next to the choke. For detailed information and safety guidelines, always consult the Simpson Premium Pressure Washer Instruction Manual.
