Connecting your PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder to Wi-Fi allows you to control it remotely through the app. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Before You Begin:
- Ensure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Set up the feeder indoors, away from direct sunlight.
- Your Wi-Fi network must support 2.4GHz (the feeder is not compatible with 5GHz only networks). If needed, configure your router to be compatible with 2.4GHz.
- Your Wi-Fi password should contain a maximum of 12 digits and letters; special characters are not supported.
- Keep the feeder close to your router, ideally within 6 meters without obstructions.
Wi-Fi Setup Steps:
- Open the PETLIBRO app and go to the Home page.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon in the upper right corner.
- Choose "PLAF101 Wi-Fi Feeder" from the device options.
- Follow the on-screen prompts and verify that the Wi-Fi indicator on the feeder is flashing.
- Select "Bluetooth" in the app's top right corner.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Check if the indicator on the feeder flashes once every 0.5 seconds.
- Tap "Next" after confirming the indicator flash. If the indicator isn't flashing, select "Reset Device Step by Step" and follow the provided instructions.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network details (account and password) to connect to your 2.4GHz network, and add the "PLAF101" device.
If the initial setup fails, try the following:
- Power off the feeder by holding the Reset button for 6 seconds.
- Wait approximately 2 minutes, then attempt the configuration again.
Once connected, you can use the PETLIBRO app to schedule feeding times and manage portion sizes for your cat.
