Setting up your RainPoint TTV203WRF 2 Zone WiFi Water Timer with the WiFi Hub is straightforward. Follow these steps for a successful connection:
Step 1: Get the RainPoint App Download the RainPoint App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or scan the QR code found in your RainPoint TTV203WRF manual. Create a RainPoint account within the app, following the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: Connect the WiFi Hub Plug the WiFi Hub into an indoor power outlet near your WiFi router and the area where you'll place the water timer outside. Open the RainPoint App and tap "Add device" or "Add a new device." Select " Irrigation" and then "Add Manually." Choose "Irrigation Hub." Select your 2.4GHz WiFi network and enter your password when prompted.
Step 3: Connect the WiFi Timer Insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment of the RainPoint timer. In the RainPoint App, tap "Add device," then "Smart Irrigation," and "Add Manually," and finally select "WIFI 2-Zone Smart Water Timer." Press and hold the left button on the timer until the left and right indicators blink rapidly and simultaneously (about twice per second). The app should automatically search for and pair with your WiFi timer.
Step 4: Install the WiFi Timer Attach the timer's inlet to your outdoor faucet or spigot. Connect your drip irrigation system or garden hose to the timer's outlet.
Step 5: Test the Connection Carefully test the internal valve of your water timer, following the directions in your RainPoint manual. If you encounter any problems during setup, check the troubleshooting section in your manual, or contact RainPoint customer support for help.
