Setting up your MXL TEMPO USB microphone is straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:
- Unpack and Prepare: Ensure you have all components: the microphone itself, the desktop stand, the stand mount, and the USB 2.0 high-speed cable.
- Assemble the Stand: Attach the microphone stand mount to the desktop stand. Spread the legs of the desktop stand to create a stable base.
- Mount the Microphone: Hold the microphone upright and firmly. Screw the black mounting ring into the microphone's base to secure it to the stand.
- Adjust the Angle: Fine-tune the microphone's position by loosening the thumbscrew on the side of the stand adapter.
- Connect the USB Cable: Plug one end of the USB cable into the microphone's USB connector.
