Replacing the batteries in your LeapFrog Touch & Learn World Map is a straightforward process. Here's how to do it: First, ensure the unit is switched off. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the LeapFrog Touch & Learn World Map. Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and open the battery cover. Carefully remove the old batteries by gently lifting one end of each battery. Insert two new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries, paying close attention to the polarity diagram inside the battery compartment to ensure correct placement. For optimal performance, LeapFrog recommends using alkaline batteries or fully charged Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
