Keeping your Keurig K- Plus clean is key to great-tasting coffee and a long-lasting machine. Here's how to clean each part: For the brewer's exterior, use a damp, soapy, lint-free cloth. Don't submerge it in water. The removable water reservoir should be cleaned regularly with a damp, soapy, non-abrasive cloth, rinsed thoroughly, and allowed to air dry completely. Don't use a cloth to dry the inside. Empty and clean the drip tray, which can hold up to 8 ounces of overflow, by sliding it out and wiping it with a damp, soapy, lint-free cloth. To clean the K-Cup pod holder, lift the handle and grasp the top while pushing up on the bottom to release it. After cleaning, align it and snap it back in. Avoid putting your fingers inside. Wash the funnel regularly by pulling it off the K-Cup pod holder and snapping it back in. To clean the exit needle, remove the pod holder assembly and funnel, and use a straightened paper clip to clear any coffee grounds. For the entrance needle, lift the brewer handle and use a straightened paper clip to clean both holes. Finally, lower the handle and run two water-only brew cycles without a K-Cup pod. Regular cleaning ensures your Keurig K-Mini Plus continues to function properly. For more details, consult your user manual.
