Programming the address for your OOH941 Multi Criteria Fire Detector is straightforward. You'll need the Model DPU Device Programming Unit to begin. Detailed instructions for address programming are available in the DPU Manual, document number P/N 315-033260. Remember to record the loop and device number, also known as the loop address, on both the detector label and the detector base. This crucial step prevents incorrect installation. You can use the optional DPU label printer for this. The OOH941 detectors should be programmed with an address ranging from 001 to 252. Note that the OOH941 provides two distinct alarm channels: a multi-criteria (UL268) and direct in-duct (UL268A) channel with supplemental heat detection, plus a dedicated heat (UL521) channel. These channels are capable of simultaneous use and are individually configurable through your fire alarm control panel. For specific configuration steps, consult the operation manual of your control panel.
