Pairing additional transmitters or accessories with your METAK M520+D015 Wireless Door Chime receiver can be done using two modes: VARIABLE and FIXED. Here's how to do it:
VARIABLE MODE:
- Put the receiver into pairing mode: Press and hold the button on the receiver for about 5 seconds. You'll hear a beep and see the LED light up.
- Trigger the transmitter: Briefly press the button on the receiver and then trigger the transmitter or accessory you wish to pair.
- Check the pairing confirmation: The receiver will indicate the pairing status with beeps and LED flashes:
- Two beeps and two flashes: Pairing successful.
- One beep and one flash: Transmitter already paired.
- Three beeps and three flashes: The receiver's memory is full.
- Exit pairing mode: Press the button on the receiver to exit pairing mode.
- Set your desired chime: Follow the instructions for selecting the ringtone to assign a specific chime sound. Test the setup to ensure the sound matches the transmitter.
FIXED MODE:
- Select your desired ringtone: Follow the instructions for choosing a specific ringtone.
- Enter pairing mode: Press and hold the and buttons simultaneously on the receiver. You'll hear a beep and see the LED light up.
- Trigger the transmitter: Briefly press the button on the receiver and then trigger the transmitter or accessory.
- Check the pairing confirmation: The receiver will indicate the pairing status with beeps and LED flashes (same as VARIABLE mode).
- Exit pairing mode: Press the button on the receiver to exit pairing mode.
- Fixed ringtone: The selected ringtone will now be permanently associated with the paired transmitter, regardless of any future changes to the receiver's ringtone settings.
