Pairing a Wireless Universal Voltage Dimming Switchpack with a Wireless Area Controller (WAC) in your WaveLinx Pro system is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Power Up and Initial State: When you power up the Relay Switchpack, it will initially be ON (closed). The 0-10V output will be set to 75% light output.
- Activate Commissioning: Press and release the commissioning button on the Relay Switchpack. This action toggles the Relay state.
- LED Indication: Observe the LED on the Relay Switchpack; it indicates the Relay state. If the Relay is closed, the LED will be ON.
- Wireless Network Join and Visual Inspection: When the Relay Switchpack joins the WaveLinx Pro wireless network, the Relay will turn OFF for 5 minutes. This allows you to visually identify which fixtures received the join beacon from the WAC.
- Note Fixtures Not Affected: Make a note of any fixtures that did not turn OFF during the 5-minute hold period. These fixtures will remain at 75% or full brightness.
- Pairing Completion: Once the pairing and 5-minute OFF period are complete, all relays will be part of the default area and dimmable zone.
- Further Configuration: For additional configuration options, consult the WaveLinx Pro Mobile App manual. This will guide you through completing the setup process. Should you experience any difficulties during the pairing process, please consult the troubleshooting section in the manual or reach out to Technical Services for assistance.
