Mounting your Fat Cat 727 electronic dartboard is a straightforward process. Here's how: First, select a spot with at least 10 feet of clear space in front of the board. Next, pinpoint the bullseye's center: measure and mark a point on the wall 68 inches (172.7 cm) from the floor. This is where the dartboard's center will be. For secure mounting, find wall studs using a stud finder. If a stud isn't available, the included mounting hardware works. From your bullseye mark, measure up 7 inches (17.7 cm) and create another mark, ensuring both marks are vertical using a level. Then, measure 2 3/4 inches (6.9 cm) to the left and right of the top mark, and make additional marks. Now, prepare to drill. If you are not using studs, create pilot holes at these new marks. If you're using wall anchors (plastic, toggle bolts, or hollow wall anchors), follow the anchor instructions. Insert screws into the anchors, leaving about a 1/4-inch (6.5 mm) gap. Finally, hang the dartboard: position it so the screw heads fit into the lower part of the keyholes on the dartboard's back and slide it down about 1/2 inch to lock it. Tighten the screws to firmly secure the board. For the best results and safety, consult the complete Fat Cat 727 electronic dartboard instruction manual.
