Experiencing issues with your Sloan ECOS Electronic Flushometer's sensing range? Here's how to adjust it: First, clear the sensor's view of any temporary obstructions. Next, press and hold the manual override button for approximately 20 to 30 seconds until the on the sensor begins to blink slowly. Release the button when the LED is blinking. For BT models, you will need to press the manual override again for 20-30 seconds. The ECOS will then enter distance setting mode, which lasts for one minute. During this minute, you can modify the range if it's too short or too long. You do not need to shut off the water supply to make these adjustments. When fine-tuning the range for urinal sensors, make sure you have a suitable target positioned in front of the sensor for accurate calibration.
