Managing input sources and output channels on your VIVOLINK VLHDMIMAT4X2RS 4x2 HDMI 2.0 Presentation Switcher is straightforward. Here's how to do it:
Manual Switching:
- To select an input source for Output A, press the "Select" button located in the Out A block. The corresponding source LED will illuminate green, indicating the active input for Output A.
- Repeat the process for Output B by pressing the "Select" button in the Out B block. The selected input's LED will also turn green.
Auto Switching:
- To enable auto-switching for Output A, press and hold the "Select" button in the Out A block for approximately 3 seconds. The Auto LED will turn green, confirming that auto-switching is activated for Output A.
- Similarly, enable auto-switching for Output B by pressing and holding the "Select" button in the Out B block for about 3 seconds. The Auto LED will light up green for Output B.
Auto Switching Rules:
- The switcher will prioritize the first available active input, starting from HDMI input 1 and progressing to input 4.
- It will automatically switch to a new input when a new, active source is detected.
- Upon restarting, the switcher will automatically reconnect to the input that was active before it was powered off.
- If an active source is disconnected, the switcher will automatically switch to the first available active input, beginning with HDMI input 1.
Additional Notes:
- The detection method (TMDS or 5V) can be configured using RS232 commands.
- While in auto-switching mode, pressing the "Select" button will cycle through the available input sources without disabling auto-switching.
- To disable auto-switching, press and hold the "Select" button for about 3 seconds.
