
To install the iDEAL FP14KCX-ALIGNKIT Runway Bolt-On Alignment Kit on your FP14KC-X lift, follow these steps. First, gather the necessary tools: a fork lift (recommended for offloading), crowbar, metric sockets or open wrench set (13mm through 18mm), medium flat and Phillips screwdrivers, needle-nose pliers, safety glasses, and gloves. Next, proceed with the installation process, referring to the instruction manual for detailed guidance. Begin by removing bolts that attach the Wheel Stop and Runway to the front crossbeam, if applicable. Position the Front Spacer (#2) on the Runway, aligning the bolt holes with the Wheel Stop holes and the center hole in the Runway. Secure the Front Spacer using M8 bolts and nuts at the back and M12 x 40mm bolts at the front, ensuring the Alignment Wheel Stop is mounted between the Front Spacer and Runway. Place the 'sliding' Turntable Pad (#3) against the rear of the Front Spacer. Center and square the Long Spacer (#5) on the Runway, fastening only the Front Tab to the Runway using M8 bolts and nuts. Position the Movable Spacer (#4) behind the Turntable Pad, hooking it into the Long Spacer holes. Center and square the Rear Wheel Slip Plate (#6) on the Runway, ensuring the Slip Plate Tabs are above the Long Spacer Tabs. Secure the Slip Plate to the Runway with M8 bolts and nuts, aligning holes with the Long Spacer and Runway tab holes. Place the Ramp Support (#7) Tabs under the rear of the Slip Plate and secure with M8 bolts and nuts. Insert L-Pins back into the Slip Plate holes to secure. Remove the Pivot Pin (#9) from the Ramp and align the Ramp Extension (#8) bracket holes with the pivot holes on the Runway end, securing them with the Pivot Pin and cotter pins. Finally, ensure all components are properly aligned and fully tightened to the Runway. Repeat these steps for the other Runway. Following these instructions will allow you to successfully install the iDEAL FP14KCX-ALIGNKIT and upgrade your FP14KC-X lift.
