Installing your GloFish 29014 Blue Aquarium Light is straightforward. First, securely clip the light fixture onto the front edge of your aquarium. Next, use the included cord routing clips to neatly manage and conceal the power cord. This helps maintain a tidy appearance and prevents the wires from being visible. Remember to create a drip loop with the power cord before plugging it in. A drip loop is a safety feature where you create a loop in the cord that hangs lower than the electrical outlet; this prevents water from running down the cord and into the electrical components. For models with two light sticks, route the connecting wire underneath the center brace of your aquarium and use the provided clips to prevent sagging. The 20-gallon LED light includes two clips for this purpose.
