To install the drivers for your Digital Check CheXpress CX30 check reader, follow these steps:
- Before connecting the scanner to your computer, ensure you have the appropriate drivers and scanning software. Digital Check doesn't provide scanning software, so reach out to your bank or solution provider for help with the driver and software installation.
- With the driver installation files ready, unplug any USB devices (like printers or scanners) from your computer and turn them off.
- Connect the CheXpress CX30 check reader to your computer using the USB cable. Make sure the power supply is also connected.
- If you've downloaded the driver installation file, double-click it to start the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish.
- If the installation doesn't start automatically, find the installation file and double-click it manually.
- Once the driver installation is done, the scanner's status LED should turn green, indicating it's ready to use.
Important Note: Install the drivers before connecting the scanner. If you've already connected it, disconnect the USB cable and power supply, uninstall any old drivers, and then reinstall them following the steps above.
