Installing Armorlite JL 4-Door Rock Sliders on your Jeep involves several key steps. Before you begin, put your vehicle in "Park" and engage the emergency brake. It is also recommended to wear gloves to protect your hands and have a second person to assist with the installation process.

Here are the tools you'll need:

  • 10 mm socket
  • Small standard screwdriver
  • T50 Torx head bit
  • 16 mm wrench
  • Trim stick

Follow these steps for the installation:

  1. Flooring Preparation: Protect seat side shields and remove both front and rear floor mats. Remove the front sill, electrical connector block, and door harness connector. Take out the front and rear seat bolts. Detach the B-pillar (both mid and lower sections). Remove the rear console bolt trim covers and bolts, followed by the front console bolt covers and bolts. If installing the rear flooring, remove the rear carpet. Then, take out the front factory carpets and unscrew the plastic floor mat posts. Finally, remove the factory plugs (2 front, 2 rear).
  2. Flooring Installation: Install the rear Armorlite flooring if applicable, followed by the front passenger side flooring and then the front driver side flooring.
  3. Reassembly: Reinstall the B-pillar, then the front sill. Secure the front and rear seat bolts to a torque specification of 48 newton meters. Reinstall the rear console bolts and trim covers, along with the front console bolts and trim covers.

Armorlite flooring products are covered by a limited lifetime warranty for materials and workmanship, valid for the original purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle. The warranty does not cover intentional damage, accidents, unreasonable use, neglect, improper installation, modifications, or damage prior to installation. To make a warranty claim, visit the support page on www.GoArmorlite.com and complete the form. You may need to provide images as proof of a manufacturing defect. Upon approval, Armorlite will provide a replacement product and cover shipping costs. For more detailed visual instructions, you can also view the installation video at www.GoArmorlite.com/installation.
