Before You Begin:
- Wear gloves to protect your hands.
- Ensure your Jeep is in "Park" with the emergency brake engaged.
- Having a second person assist with the installation is recommended.
Tools You'll Need:
- 10 mm socket for removing and installing the front sill nut and console bolt.
- Small standard screwdriver for removing and installing the front sill electrical connector and console plugs.
- T50 Torx head bit for removing and installing seat bolts.
- 16 mm wrench for removing floormat/carpet studs.
- Trim stick for prying plastic parts.
Installation Steps:
- Protect seat side shields.
- Remove both front and rear floor mats.
- Remove the front sill, electrical connector block, and door harness connector.
- Remove the front and rear seat bolts.
- Remove the B-pillar (mid & lower sections).
- Remove the rear console bolt trim covers.
- Remove the rear console bolts.
- Remove the front console bolt covers.
- Remove the front console bolts.
- Remove the rear carpet, if applicable, only for rear 11 installations.
- Remove the front factory carpets.
- Unscrew the plastic floor mat posts.
- Remove the factory plugs (two front, two rear).
- Install the rear Armorlite flooring, if applicable.
- Install the front passenger side Armorlite flooring.
- Install the front driver side Armorlite flooring.
- Install the B-pillar.
- Install the front sill.
- Install the front and rear seat bolts to a torque specification of 48 newton meters.
- Install the rear console bolts and trim covers.
- Install the front console bolts and trim covers.
