Setting up your new Maytronics Dolphin Wave 50 pool cleaner for the first time is straightforward. Begin by fully unwinding the cable to eliminate any kinks. Connect the floating cable to the power supply, ensuring the connector's notch aligns with the socket's groove before turning it clockwise. Remove any protective plastic coverings from the pool cleaner. Next, adjust the handle angle to optimize waterline cleaning; press the latch, move the handle, and release the latch to secure the position. Positions 1 and 2 offer normal advance for efficient waterline cleaning, while positions 3 and 4 provide a faster, but less efficient, cleaning action. If the foam climbing rings on the brushes are dry, soften them by soaking them in water. To prepare for submersion, shake the robot to release trapped air, or turn it upside down, allowing it to sink to the pool floor. Finally, switch the power supply ON to initiate the cleaning cycle. Following these steps ensures your Maytronics Dolphin Wave 50 is ready for its initial cleaning session.
