Switching between lighting modes on the VIDEX VLF-H055D 500 MAX Lumis Headlamp is straightforward. Here's how to do it: A short press of the button cycles through the different light modes and also turns the headlamp on and off. If you want to switch the light off while remembering the current mode for next use, give the button a long press (0.5 seconds) while the light is on. To activate the sensor mode, short press the button while the light is off. A blue indicator will show the sensor is active. You can then turn the light on and off by waving your hand near the sensor. While the light is on, a short press will set the sensor to remember the current lighting mode for the future.
