To tailor the performance of your OMNI Ceiling Mount Sensor, you can adjust its sensitivity and timer settings using the DIP switches found within the device. These switches are grouped into Bank A and Bank B, each controlling different aspects of the sensor's operation.
Bank A DIP Switches allow for the following adjustments:
- A1: Auto/Manual - Select between automatic mode (for standard use) or manual on mode (to bypass and override).
- A2: Threshold - This setting in Dual Technology Mode allows you to choose between high confidence mode (requiring both passive infrared and ultrasonic detection) or high sensitivity mode (activating with either passive infrared or ultrasonic detection).
- A3: LED Motion Indicator - Enable or disable the LED indicators that signal motion detection.
- A4: Reset Learned Setting - Choose to retain existing settings (normal operation) or reset the sensor, clearing all learned data.
Bank B DIP Switches control these features:
- B1: Strong Airflow Compensation - Select normal operation or activate compensation for environments with strong airflow.
- B2: Over Doorway Installation - Configure the sensor for installation away from a doorway or specifically over a doorway, adjusting for a lower turn-on threshold.
- B3: Timer Adjust - Determine whether the timer adjusts automatically (normal) or manually, using the black timer control.
- B4: Auto Sensitivity - Choose whether the sensitivity adjusts automatically (normal) or requires manual adjustment using the red infrared sensitivity control and/or the green ultrasonic sensitivity control.
By carefully adjusting these DIP switches, you can customize the OMNI Ceiling Mount Sensor to best suit your environment and needs. For detailed instructions on accessing and modifying these settings, please refer to the OMNI Ceiling Mount Sensor's manual.
