Adjusting the illumination brightness on your KERN OZM-5 Stereo Zoom Microscope is straightforward, thanks to its integrated 3W illumination system for both reflected and transmitted light. Here's how to manage the brightness: First, identify the dedicated brightness adjustment controls. These are usually separate for the reflected and transmitted illumination. To modify the brightness of the reflected illumination, locate the corresponding adjustment control, often a dial or a knob. Turn it clockwise to increase the brightness, and counterclockwise to decrease it. For the transmitted illumination, find the specific adjustment control and follow the same procedure, turning the dial or knob in the appropriate direction to achieve your desired brightness level. Continue adjusting until your sample is ideally illuminated for observation.
