Connecting your retro-bit RB-SGA-048 SEGA 8 Button Arcade Pad involves a few straightforward steps. First, plug the correct receiver into your console's controller port. The LED on the receiver will then start blinking, signaling it's in search mode. Next, press the Start button on your controller, which should also cause its LED to blink. Now, press and hold the Sync button on the receiver. Release the Sync button once the LEDs on both the receiver and the controller become solid, indicating a successful connection.
If you run into any pairing problems, you can reset the controller in a couple of ways. You can press and hold the Start, Select, and R buttons simultaneously for about four seconds. Alternatively, you can insert a thin wire into the small hole on the back of the controller, gently holding it until the LED turns off, and then restart the pairing process. Make sure your controller is charged by plugging a USB-C cable into the controller and a power source. The LED will stay lit when charging is complete.
Remember, depending on your device (like SEGA Genesis, SEGA Genesis Mini, SEGA Saturn, Switch, PC, Android, or Mac), you might need to switch modes.
