Connecting your PETLIBRO Automatic Cat Feeder to Wi-Fi allows you to manage feeding schedules and portions via the app. Here's how:
Before you start, make sure your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled.
Wi-Fi Connection Steps:
- Ensure the feeder is indoors, away from direct sunlight.
- The feeder only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. If your network is set to 5GHz, you'll need to configure it to be compatible with 2.4GHz.
- Your Wi-Fi password should be no more than 12 characters (letters and numbers only). Special characters are not supported.
- Place the feeder close to your router, ideally within 6 meters and without obstructions like walls.
- If the connection fails, reset the feeder by pressing and holding the reset button for 6 seconds. Wait 2 minutes before trying again.
App Connection Steps:
- Open the PETLIBRO app and go to the Home page.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select "PLAF101 Wi-Fi Feeder".
- Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm that the Wi-Fi indicator on the feeder is flashing.
- Choose "Bluetooth" at the top right of the screen.
- Enable Bluetooth on your phone.
- Check if the indicator on the feeder flashes once every 0.5 seconds.
- Tap "Next". If the indicator isn't flashing, select "Reset Device Step by Step" and follow the prompts.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network details (2.4GHz) and password to add the "PLAF101" device.
Once connected, you can use the PETLIBRO app to customize feeding times and portion sizes for your cat.
