Setting up your Broadlink RM4 Pro-S RF Remote Control Hub is straightforward. First, download the official "Broadlink" app, available on both the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android), and install it on your smartphone. Next, connect the hub to a power source using its USB Type-C cable. Ensure the hub is turned on. To connect to your Wi-Fi, open the Broadlink app and follow the on-screen prompts, entering your Wi-Fi credentials when requested. Make sure the hub is within your router's range. Once connected, you can add devices. In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device, specifying whether it's RF or IR. For RF devices (operating at 433 MHz), ensure the device is in pairing mode and follow the app's pairing instructions. The RM4 Pro-S can also handle many IR devices. If your device isn't in the app's database, use the learning function to teach the hub commands from your existing remote. Simply point the remote at the hub and follow the app's instructions. After adding devices, control them via the app using on-screen controls. You can also create scenes and routines for automation, enabling custom control of multiple devices with a single command or automating operations based on specific triggers.
