Setting up your BIGtec AC15-WT02 WiFi Range Extender is simple. Follow these steps:
- Ensure your primary WiFi router is powered on and broadcasting a signal.
- Plug the BIGtec AC15-WT02 into a power outlet. Place it within range of your existing WiFi network, ideally where the signal from your router is still strong.
- Allow the extender to power on. Observe the LED indicators; they will show the signal strength.
- On your computer or mobile device, go to your WiFi settings and connect to the network named "BIGtec_EXT."
- Open a web browser and type "http://ap.setup" or "http://192.168.10.1" in the address bar, then press Enter.
- You'll access the extender's setup page. Follow the prompts.
- Select your preferred language and proceed to the next step.
- Choose your desired mode: "Repeater Mode," "AP Mode," or "Router Mode." Select the appropriate mode for your setup and continue.
- The extender will scan for available WiFi networks. Choose your home WiFi network from the list.
- Enter your home WiFi network's password.
- You can customize the extended WiFi network's SSID (network name) and password here, or keep the original settings. Make any necessary changes.
- Review your settings and click "Apply" to save the configuration.
- The extender will restart, which may take a few minutes.
- Once the extender restarts, it's connected to your existing WiFi network. You can now connect your devices to the extended WiFi network.
