Switching between your devices and displays with the StarTech.com VS222HD4K 2x2 HDMI Matrix Switcher is simple. Here's how:

1. Manual Control: You can use either the included remote control or the front panel buttons. To select an input, use the Manual switch. The LED indicator will show which port is active. Pressing the Manual switch cycles through your connected devices.

2. Priority Mode: If you have a preferred source, connect it to Port #1. The switcher will automatically select this device when it's turned on. When the prioritized device is turned off, the switcher will revert to the other source.

3. Automatic Mode: In Automatic mode, both displays will switch to the most recently activated device. For example, if you turn on your Blu-ray player, the displays will switch to it. Turning off the Blu-ray player, or turning on the TV, will switch the display back to the other source.

4. Matrix Mode: This mode lets you send either video source to one or both displays. Each display has a Manual Switch. Press the Manual Switch for Display #1 once to output Input 1 or twice to output Input 2. Do the same with Manual Switch #2 for Display #2.
