Calibrating the water level system on your Vegas Control Panel ensures accurate water level readings. Here's a step-by-step guide:
- Fill the Water Tank: Begin by filling your water tank to the desired maximum level.
- Enter Calibration Mode: Press and hold both the Voltage Button and the Water Level Button simultaneously for 6 to 8 seconds. This will activate the calibration mode.
- Observe Indicator Lights: The Display Indicator will illuminate, corresponding to the water probe installed in your system.
- Release Buttons: Once in calibration mode, release both buttons.
- Cancel Calibration (Optional): To cancel the calibration process at any time, press and hold the Leisure Battery Voltage Button for one second. The display will flash twice to confirm cancellation.
- Start Calibration: Initiate the calibration by pressing and holding the Water Level Button for half a second, then release it.
- Successful Calibration: If the calibration is successful, the display will flash three times. The Control Panel will then restart, ready for use.
- Calibration Failure: If the calibration fails, the display will flash twice. In this case, repeat the calibration process, ensuring the water tank is full.
- Re-calibration for New Water Sources: When using the BCA Resistive Water Probe with a new water source, recalibrate the control panel after filling the tank with water from the new source. Different water sources have different resistivity values, impacting display accuracy.
- Note: Even if calibration fails (display flashes twice), the value is saved as its calibration value. However, recalibration is still recommended to ensure precise readings of your Vegas Control Panel.
