Calibrating your CMT DAG-001 Digital Angle Gauge ensures accurate angle measurements. Here's how: Begin by placing the gauge on a perfectly flat surface. Simultaneously press and hold the ON/OFF and ZERO buttons until the display shows "-1-" (refer to Figure 7 in the CMT DAG-001 manual). Next, briefly press the ON/OFF button; the display will show "-1-" flashing, then change to "-2-" (as shown in Figure 8). Rotate the CMT DAG-001 Digital Angle Gauge 180 degrees and press the ON/OFF button again. The display will show "-2-" and flash briefly (Figure 9). Once the flashing ceases, the calibration is complete. The gauge will now display angles in "ABS" mode (Figure 10). It's generally recommended to calibrate the CMT DAG-001 if it has been dropped, damaged, or if you suspect measurement inaccuracies. Always calibrate on a stable, flat surface for optimal results. For visual aids and more detailed information, consult the instruction manual that came with your CMT DAG-001 Digital Angle Gauge.

what size service wire for 100 amp service

For a 100-amp service, the standard minimum wire size is #4 AWG copper or #2 AWG aluminum. The exact size may vary depending on factors like the length of the wire run, which can require a larger gauge to prevent voltage drop, and the type of insulation used. These sizes ensure the wire safely handles the service's amperage capacity.
