Adding a second Door Position Sensor (DPS) to your Genie 39279R Aladdin Connect Door Control Module (DCM) without using the app is straightforward. Follow these steps:

On the DCM, locate an unlit DOOR button and press and hold it until you hear a beep. The LED above that DOOR button will begin flashing blue, signaling that it's ready to pair with a DPS. Ensure the button isn't already assigned to a door and isn't lit with a solid blue LED.

While the LED above the DOOR button is flashing blue, press and hold the button on the new DPS. The blue LED on the DPS will begin flashing slowly (about once per second), indicating it's ready to connect with the DCM.

Once the DPS successfully connects, the blue LED on the DPS will turn off. This might take a few seconds or a few minutes. Shortly after, the blue LED above the chosen DOOR button on the DCM will turn solid, confirming the connection and communication with the DPS.

Repeat these steps if you're adding up to a total of 3 Door Position Sensors to the DCM. The number of DOOR buttons with solid blue LEDs on the DCM indicates how many DPS units (and therefore doors) are connected. A single DCM can support a maximum of 3 DPS units.
