To ensure your Pulsar LT device is running the latest software, follow these steps: First, download the Update Agent 1.0 software from the manufacturer's website. Then, install the software on a Windows computer. Next, connect the computer to your vehicle's OBDII port using a USB to OBDII update cable (this is sold separately). Make sure your vehicle's ignition is in the RUN position, but do not start the engine. Open the Update Agent 1.0 software, plug in the USB to OBDII cable into both the vehicle's OBDII port and a USB port on your computer. The Update Agent 1.0 should detect your Pulsar LT; follow the on-screen instructions to check for and install updates. Do not turn off the vehicle during the update unless instructed by the Update Agent. Once the update is complete, the software will confirm that your device is up-to-date. You can then disconnect the USB to OBDII cable. Important notes: The Pulsar LT must be installed in your vehicle before updating. Do not use your vehicle's Wi-Fi during the update process. It is also recommended to use a charger during the update for consistent power. For any update issues, reach out to Powerteq Technical Support. Have your Vehicle Information, Part Number, and Serial Number ready.
