Knowing when to replace the battery in your XAS Smart or XAS Smart Black sensor is easy. The sensor has a built-in low battery indicator. If the LED flashes rapidly when the sensor is starting up, it's a sign that the battery is running low and needs replacing. If you have an Intelbras alarm system, the control panel will also display a low battery warning for the sensor. The XAS Smart and XAS Smart Black sensors send low battery warnings regardless of whether they are using OOK or FSK modulation.
