To confirm your Hilti C 4-12-50 Compact Charger is working properly, observe the charger and battery indicators. On the charger itself, LED 1 provides critical information. A solid green light means the charger is ready. A flashing red light suggests the battery is too hot or too cold for charging. LED 2 on the charger also offers important clues: if it's off, there's no AC power, or the charger may be defective. A flashing green light indicates charging is in progress, while a solid green light means the battery is fully charged. Check the Li-ion battery's state-of-charge display. Four LEDs illuminated signal a 100% charge. Three LEDs lit, with one flashing, shows a charge between 75% and 100%. Two LEDs lit, with one flashing, indicates 50% to 75% charge. One LED lit, with one flashing, means the charge is between 25% and 50%. If only one LED is flashing, the battery's charge is less than 25%. These indicators help you understand your Hilti charger and battery's status. For any persistent issues, consult your Hilti C 4-12-50 Compact Battery Charger manual's troubleshooting section or contact Hilti Service.
