To verify your battery charger is functioning properly, check the LED indicator. Here's what the indicator typically shows:

• 6V Battery Connected: The light indicates 'Charging in Process' or '6V Battery Fully Charged; Maintenance Mode in Progress.'
• 12V Battery Connected: The light indicates 'Charging in Process' or '12V Battery Fully Charged; Maintenance Mode in Progress.'

If the LED shows the battery is fully charged and in maintenance mode, the charging is complete. If the LED flashes between 6V and 12V, the charger is identifying the battery type; it will select the appropriate mode within a couple of minutes. If you know you have a 12V battery, you can manually select 12V charging by holding the Mode Button for 3 seconds. Always confirm that the battery terminals are clean, the voltage and battery type are correct, and the battery clamps are connected as shown in your charger's manual.
