If you're having trouble with your Synology WRX560 router, resetting it can often resolve the issue. There are two main reset methods: a soft reset and a hard reset.
To perform a soft reset, locate the RESET button on your WRX560 router and press and hold it for approximately 4 seconds. This will restart the router and attempt to fix any minor issues without deleting your current settings.
If a soft reset doesn't work, you can try a hard reset. Press and hold the RESET button for about 10 seconds. This will reset the router to its factory default settings, which means you'll lose all your custom configurations, including your Wi-Fi network name and password. You'll need to set up your router again from the beginning after a hard reset. For detailed visual instructions, consult the Synology WRX560 Router user manual.
