To successfully activate the color change feature on your L.O.L. Surprise Color Change doll, follow these steps: First, understand the temperature requirements. For the cold color change, use ice water, around 32°F (0°C). For the warm color change, start with water at approximately 100.4ºF (38ºC), and aim for around 104ºF (40ºC) for best results. Second, apply the water correctly. Focus the cold or warm water on the doll's hair only; the color change is designed for the hair. Note that not all fashions or accessories included with the doll will change color. If the color change isn't working, consider the doll's temperature; if it's too close to the water temperature, the effect may not be visible. In extreme weather, the color change may appear prematurely. To revert to the original color, place the doll in a room temperature environment, between 68–77 °F (20–25 °C). Keep in mind that the color change effect on the doll's body has a limited lifespan. Also, the doll's housing, accessories, and stand might differ based on the specific L.O.L. Surprise Color Change doll you have.
