First, choose a suitable location, avoiding high-traffic areas and ensuring at least the clearance specified in the manual (Figure 1). Make sure nothing obstructs the airflow. Next, install the mounting bracket. Locate a ceiling joist or other strong structural element. Drill a ¼” pilot hole for the screws. Follow the instructions in Figures 4a and 4b for single- or double- joist mounting. Now, hang the heater: Lift the heater into the bracket, aligning the bracket holes with the threaded holes on the heater. Secure it with the provided screws and knobs. For electrical connection, turn off the power at the breaker. Access the heater's electrical section by removing the bottom lid. Attach the flexible cable through a knockout, following NEC and local codes. Connect the wires to the power block inside the heater as per the specifications. To adjust airflow, swivel or tilt the unit as needed, and adjust the louvers. Safety is paramount: Do not use the heater outdoors or in wet areas. Keep combustible materials at least 3 feet away.
