1. For Door to Frame Installation:

   • Open the hinge leaves and place one leaf against the frame's face. Leave a 1/8-inch gap between the hinge top and the frame header.

   • Open the hinge leaves and align one leaf with the door's face. Make sure it's flush with the door's top edge.

3. Marking and Screw Installation:

   • Identify the top 7/32-inch hole and use one of the (12) #12-24 x 3/4 self-drilling tek screws. Once the top screw is in, level the hinge and put in the remaining (5) #12-24 tek screws. For the remaining 5/16-inch holes, drill a .201 (No. 7) hole. Using the provided T-27 Torx bit, install the (4) 1/4-20 x 5/8 self-tapping Torx screws.

4. Positioning the Door:

   • Put the door in the opening and use shims to get the correct clearance. Then, put in the six (6) #12-24 x 3/4-inch self-drill/tapping screws in the six (6) 7/32-inch holes on the door leaf.

5. Checking and Adjusting:

   • Take out the shims and open the door. Make sure it swings properly and has the right clearances. Adjust if needed.

6. Finishing the Installation:

   • Close the door. Mark the center points of the remaining holes. Drill holes all the way through the door using a 1/4-inch diameter drill bit. Then, enlarge the 1/4-inch holes on the inside of the door with a 3/8-inch drill bit. Secure the door leaf portion of the hinge to the door's face using the four (4) thru-bolts and shoulder bolts. The thru-bolts go in from the inside face, and the shoulder bolts go in from the outside.

   • Repeat steps 4-7 for Door to Door Installation only. Secure the frame leaf snap cover with a rubber mallet, starting at the top and working down. To install the door leaf cover, hook the edge away from the gears first, then secure with a rubber mallet. Make sure the tops of the covers are level with the hinge.
