Connecting your Philips GPX1100 portable projector to external devices like laptops or smartphones is straightforward. Here's how to do it:
Connecting via HDMI: Use the HDMI cable included with your projector. Plug one end into the HDMI output of your device (laptop, Blu-ray player, etc.) and the other end into the HDMI port on the Philips GPX1100. The projector should automatically switch to the HDMI input and display the content. If not, use the remote to manually select HDMI input.
Connecting via USB-C: For devices with USB-C, use the provided USB-C cable. Connect one end to the USB-C port on your device (smartphone, tablet) and the other to the USB-C port on the projector. Make sure your device supports video output over USB-C. The projector should automatically detect the connection and display the content. If not, use the remote to select USB-C input.
Using EasyLink: The Philips GPX1100 supports EasyLink, which uses HDMI CEC to let you control connected devices with the projector's remote. Ensure your device also supports HDMI CEC. Activate EasyLink in the projector's settings menu under HDMI CEC - On.
