Verifying the proper installation and function of your CLAAS-JD Bridge on your Lexion 8800 combine involves a few straightforward steps. First, observe the AutoTrac Pie indicator on your John Deere monitor screen. A properly installed Bridge will initially display at least one quarter of the Pie. Next, press the AutoSteer-Enable button on your armrest; this should increase the Pie indicator to two quarters, confirming correct system configuration. When all operational conditions are met, such as achieving minimum speed and activating threshing, the Pie indicator should show three quarters (Enabled). At this stage, you can engage Auto-Steering using the Engage (Resume) button; this should result in a full four-quarter Pie display. To disengage Auto-Steering, you can press the Engage button again, or simply turn the steering wheel. The steering wheel can be forced to disengage the auto-steering as well. For optimizing steering performance, use the JD display to make adjustments. In an open area, travel at your target speed and fine-tune parameters individually until you are satisfied with the steering accuracy.
