To modify the power output of your CONTROLOMATIC ChlorMaker saltwater chlorine generator, follow these simple steps: First, simultaneously press the Up and Down buttons on the control box. The light on the control box will illuminate steadily, signaling power change mode activation. To increase the power, press the Up button. Each press of the Up button causes the Green (Salt High) light to flash. Power levels range from 1 to 10, with 10 representing the highest output. If you reach the maximum power level (10), the Green light will remain continuously lit. Conversely, to decrease the power, press the Down button. Each press of the Down button will make the Red (Salt Low) light flash. The power levels range from 1 down to 1. If you set the power level at the lowest (1), the Red light will stay on constantly. Once you've adjusted the power level, refrain from pressing any buttons for three seconds. The control box light will then flash the newly set power level, confirming your setting change. It's important to adjust the power level based on your spa's usage patterns. If usage decreases, such as during vacations or the winter, lower the power setting to avoid excessive chlorination. If usage increases, like after returning from a trip or during spring, raise the power level to ensure adequate chlorination.
