If your ALORAIR VentirPro 260 Crawlspace Ventilator Fan isn't starting, here's a troubleshooting guide.
First, check the humidity settings. The fan activates when the crawl space humidity hits the level you set. If the humidity is below this threshold, the fan will remain off.
Next, consider outdoor temperature. The fan has a built-in safety feature to prevent operation in very cold conditions. If the outdoor temperature is below 35°F, the fan will not run. It's designed to start again when temperatures reach around 50°F.
Finally, examine the electrical connections. Ensure the circuit is working and the fan is correctly connected to the power. Loose connections or electrical problems can prevent the fan from operating. Before checking anything, always disconnect the fan from the power supply for safety. If, after checking these things, the fan still won't start, contact AlorAir support for assistance.
